Following is a summary of the updates that Laurie Parsons (President) has posted on Facebook in the last week.
Sign-in Process
With the significant growth and number of new players it has become increasingly difficult to ensure that nobody is missed in the draw and we apologise for the few glitches. From now on, we ask all members to first report to Jan McCaughan and Lou Cherrington at the sign-in desk and they will put your name down for the draw, after that you can then see Kaylene and co. to pay your playing fees and for lunch / raffle if you require.
Lunches – salads etc.
Lorrette Stone has agreed to take on managing the kitchen and we ask everybody to put your salads / sides on the lunch table (where lunch is served) and Lorrette and her helpers will place them in the kitchen. This is so we can manage the amount of people in kitchen and prepare all the contributions properly.
Entrances
All players must use one of the official entrances – nobody is allowed to enter the premises via the kitchen door.
Suggestion Box
On club days there will be a suggestion box in the foyer. If you have any concerns or ideas on club matters, you can raise them directly with a committee member or if you prefer place them in the suggestion box. As required, the committee will discuss at or before our next committee meeting.
